Dusk at Dawn, 2020

As the sunlight grows dim, strange hues start to begin. Abdallah’s painterly ‘Door at Dusk’ portrays the very last moments of the day. Swathes of red, yellow, orange and purple stroke the sky, as the blue slowly resets and dissipates. Abdallah’s playful use of negative space creates a rectangular white ‘door’ which helps bring to light the dynamic colours and vibrant undertones that are seen at dusk.
