This work is a swirling array of reds, purples & pinks. When Luke created this piece, he was feeling extremely anxious and channeled this energy into creating a hugely energetic and bold piece, which is reminiscent blood vessels running in numerous directions, but with the movement mostly focused on running from top to bottom of the board.

The background of the work features lines of pastel in red and dark purple, closely knitted and interwoven, but still allowing the white of the board to show through. The texture of the board is also highlighted through the application of the pastel.

This linework is overlayed with dabs of bright pink, red and lavender.
