Compared to many of his other brushwork paintings, Luke has been relatively sparing in his colour choice within Teevee. Starting with a textured white background, Luke has visually defined the lines and bumps present through dry-brushing with black. A rectangular area of which, central to the canvas, has then been masked out, giving the impression of TV static. The surrounding area has been layered with orange, red, yellow and turquoise with erratic and energetic strokes, moving in all directions.
