Starting with a completely black painted background, Luke Abdallah has gradually built up layers of texture and colour to create a rich landscape for fingers to explore. Luke has painted this canvas at an easel as well as dripping and splattering paint whilst the canvas rested on the floor, squeezing thick squiggles of paint straight from the tube. It looks like an aerial view of an outerspace map.
