This is a small experimental painting on a clear acrylic sheet that Luke has made using three simple painting techniques. First, Luke scratched the acrylic sheet with a sharp scribing tool. Black oil paint was rubbed into the scratches to make them more visible. Second, Luke painted vertical strokes using silver and grey acrylic; and third, Luke used pink and purple spray paint to create a colourful background. The artwork has a beautiful black frame with a silver border.
