This work was produced early in Luke’s BigCi Residency stay. Interested in sensory mapping of environments, Luke loved walking around the BigCi’s property, creating etchings of different environments, influenced by the unique sights, sounds, smells, textures and visual descriptions of each location.

This work was produced while sitting near the dam located at the top of the property, and it is interesting to see a reflection in the marks made on this work, as this captures the visual description of the site, with low bushes and eucalypts being reflected in the dam.
