This work was inspired by the colours and movement of the ocean. The background of this work exhibits a mixture of blues and turquoise, which has then been overlayed with lively cane painting strokes rising from the base of the work, in layers of dark blue, very pale blue and white, mimicking the spray of the ocean crashing against rocks. Many white and turquoise dots have then been dripped as a final layer, representing ocean spray.
