Cane Painting #11 (Moonlight) has a very dark background like a night sky and thick texture that Luke has painted with a big brush taped to the end of his cane. The main composition is built up with overlapping layers of Luke's cane painting in a range of electric, soft and purpley blues and drippy dots. It has the effect of looking like a spotlight shining into darkness from the bottom right corner of the painting, or like the moon shining into a dark night sky.
